When we all got together with my family to celebrate the big 3-0 in December, we did our own little "photo booth" complete with a plastic table cloth hung up, my trusty Canon Camera, and a box full of dress up goodies!! Add all of that with the fun that we always have and you come up with some GREAT pictures!!

Even better....is the AMAZING video that my dearest niece, Justine, created and presented to us on on Christmas. Check it out...she rocked it!!

Take a Back Road

Just when the colors were prefect, I had a chance to take a trip to Southern Colorado for a work presentation. I was actually pretty pumped about it as it would give me plenty of time (5 hours one way in fact) to drive, ponder my thoughts, and jam out to some tunes. Number one song choice was Rodney Atkin's Take a Back Road....because that is just what I did! It was also a perfect day for me and my Canon to check it all out "Behind the Lens".

Webtastic Spiderman and a Fully Padded Dragon

This Halloween, the Ty Man was Spiderman. It was as if he knew just what he wanted to be. We took him to the local costume shop to pick out his perfect disguise. I was certain he was going to pick out Thomas the Train, Mickey Mouse, or Lightning McQueen (all characters that he is loving at the moment). But instead...he went straight for the Webtastic Spiderman as if it was calling his name. He loved his new costume so much and even slept with the mask in his hand.

Trick or treating went great. If you know Ty, then you know this little guy will never turn down a piece of candy (or any food for that matter). And so he caught on quickly that he could grab candy from all the neighbors just by ringing a doorbell and looking Oh-So-Cute.

He was even lucky enough to Trick or Treat with his BFF, Paul the Dragon. They ran around chasing each other to the next house, squealed and screamed like these two boys love to do...and even participated in a nice body slam. No really...as we were finishing up at the last house Tyson took off running full speed ahead. And with the combo of the dark sky and the Spiderman Mask, he didn't see the Paul the Dragon at all and gave him a full force 39 pound body slam. Thank goodness Paul the Dragon was fully padded!!!

Either way it was a successful Halloween and I must admit that I am looking forward to next year when us Mom's can just stand at the end of the driveway and not have to hold the candy bags...or even better, stay inside while the Dad's have their turn :)

It is not a surprise that the Ty Man is a huge Bronco fan with me and The Ry Guy as his influence. I mean...I some days think we really do bleed Blue & Orange.

But I must say that it is pretty darn cute that Ty walks around when wearing his jersey saying, "I'm Tebow". Yesterday we took a trip to "The Man Store" (aka Lowes)...yet another influence from The Ry Guy. And Ty was just so proud to announce to everyone that He Is Tebow.

Let's hope that today shows him a big W-I-N.

Ty loves to sing. And sing about anything. Typically at the end of dinner, he will put on a little serenade... However, it is HIS show and he does not enjoy us and our angel voices chiming in at any time. This video just cracks me up!

The Big Screen

Last night, Ryan and I took Ty to his first movie....Winnie the Pooh. It was great to see how excited he was as each preview would start and he would ask, "Where is Pooh? Where is he?" He did great during the movie. Asking a lot of questions and very concerned during the scary parts, but it was pretty cute. It was especially perfect in the fact that the movie was only 1 hour and 3 minutes. I don't think we could have lasted much longer. But with popcorn and gummybears in hand, it was a fantastic time.

It was good too for me to see one of my favorites. I grew up watching Pooh, and it is just as special seeing it as an adult. And I loved that they kept this one classic and still showed the words and paragraph of the story.

And I know really pay attention to the personality traits of each character. Owl is the brains, Rabbit has all the ideas and is a little bossy, Piglet will do absolutely anything asked, Eeyore is forgetful and sad, Kanga is caring and the mother of them all, and Pooh....is just Pooh. Simple, sweet, and a silly ol bear! And when it comes down to it....they are all there for each other. What a great message and memory for all of us, as we all have these characters in our lives.

Today Ty keeps saying, "I saw movie. On the BIG screen." When we ask who was in the movie, he says, "Me!! And Christopher Robin." Pretty darn cute I must say!

Mr. T's 2nd Birthday

I can't believe it. Our precious little Ty is now two years old. I always remember on my birthday my Mom would reminisce about the night I was born. And as much as I always loved the stories, I completely get it now. I can't help but think what life was like one year ago and then two years ago. And more than anything, as I reminisce, a big smile comes across my face.

This little man has been such a joy to our lives that I can look back and love every moment of it. Even the hard moments...because even when Ty is in his Terrible-Two-Mood and yelling out "No Mama, Don't Want That!!", I know that in just a matter of moments he will come up and ask for a kiss & hug ...and just completely melt my heart.

And so we celebrated the birthday with a couple of small parties where we could all just hang out and have a good time. And surprisingly, the camera didn't seem to come out much for the first one. (Must have been that beer in my hand that got in the way!) But either way, we had a great time and Ty absolutely LOVED all the attention, presents, cake, and homemade ice cream!

One of my favorite things to do is ask Tyson to give Mama a Dirty Look. I am sure I will hate that talent when he is a teenager, but for now it just cracks me up. And I must say that these mad and pouty faces when the birthday hat and ribbon scream nothing but, "It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To." Or perhaps...."I Am TWO!!"

Where did this little bundle go??? I feel like some times it was just yesterday that Ty was all curled up like this and just a Tiny Mr. T.

Now, he sleeps like a little boy or even like a man....Hands behind his head as if he is doing all his life plans during his deep sleep. He also is very particular on what toys get to sleep up by his head or down by his feet. This night, he just had to have Mickey Mouse, Bear, and Ti-gar.

Most nights lately its been his construction hat!! (Thanks KayKay for such a great gift.)Who would have thought it would become his nightly ritual.

And it was a good thing for Nana that Santa had a real beard. Because apparently after surgery, I lectured her that he better have a real beard because if he didn't, "it would be all her fault". Gotta love those pain meds.

This Christmas was a little different since I was still recovering from surgery and barely remember the day. But the boys still had a great time!! And more than anything, it made me appreciate the little things. It didn't matter that our Christmas Eve wasn't what we normally do. Or that we didn't have a gift for our pup. Or that we didn't even get to take Tyson to see Santa this year. But it's about the people in our life and the special moments we spend together. Its just so easy to forget all of that.

I wanted to take this moment to give a shout out to these two. Especially the Ry Guy. This last week has been very difficult with my thyroid surgery and Ryan has been there every step of the way. I've basically been on bed rest for 8 days now (and finally feeling much better and closer to healed). But I have to give a big thanks for everything that wonderful husband of mine has done. Ty has been great too, being very gentle around Mama, but still giving the best hugs and kisses.

And so, I thank these two, for making me smile every day.

Well that's exactly what we did at the Jingle Bell 5k! The race benefited Arthritis, which hit home for us with three members diagnosed (My Mom, Dad, and sister-in-law Chris).

Yay for Team Lacy and our obnoxiously bright green shirts.

It was even Tyson's first 5k!! Thanks Chris for pushing him along!

Come to think of it, it was the first race that Ryan and I actually ran and finished together. We didn't let our competitive selves come out that day :)

Obviously, living in Colorado seeing beautiful waves is something that we don't get to see all the time. I was simply just fascinated by the power and beauty.

Magnificent Maui

I've already shared the breathtaking helicopter ride in, but the rest of our time on Maui really was amazing. We stayed in Lahiana, which I absolutely fell in love with. Its a little town with a laid back feel. It wasn't filled with a lot of resorts and I liked that our beautiful hotel (Lahaina Shores) was just 2 blocks walking distance from all the shops, restaurants, and action. Lahiana was the original fisherman's town and was even the capitol of Hawaii at first.

If you have been to Lahiana, you have definitely see the Banyan tree. This incredible tree....is really all one tree. I have never seen anything like it and it houses art fairs and small concerts on weekends. Plus the sounds of the birds in the evening is astounding.....and LOUD.

We of course saw the most beautiful beaches on Maui. None were too crowded, the weather was perfect and we both had a blast playing the waves.

A trip to Maui isn't complete without experiencing the Road to Hana. The curves were fun and exciting and I only needed to take one dramamine. We did a little hiking around to the off the road waterfalls and enjoyed some great coconut ice cream.

However, the most interesting point in the drive for us, was passing Hana and continuing around the island. The East and South side of the island are dramatically different than the rest. As is... Dead, no life, and ugly!! You go from beautiful waterfalls, to the dry desert. We started to get a little worried since we hadn't seen a single car going our way. I don't think Ryan and I said two words for about an hour as we drove on the most narrow and windy road I have ever been on. Thank goodness for the "Oh Shit" handle.

Our snorkeling trip on Oahu to Hanauma Bay wasn't exactly what we had hoped. Basically, my (ridiculous) fear of sharks got to me and I just couldn't control my panic in the water. And so, I needed some redemption and we signed up for a snorkeling trip with the Pacific Whale Foundation on Maui. Snorkeling in Molokini was beautiful, but the highlight was at Turtle Town, where we were an arms-length away from beautiful Green Sea Turtles!! I was convinced that it was a scam to just get us on the trip and didn't even bring an underwater camera. But the view was amazing and breath taking.

Cleared for Take Off

Probably the most memorable moment of our Hawaii trip was the Open Doors Helicopter Tour. After listening to someone talk about a helicopter ride at a work conference, I looked into and we decided it was a must.

I was pretty pumped that we got to wear jump suits. Cue the Top Gun Music, because I was ready to soar with Ice Man. And yes, NO DOORS on this helicopter!

Our tour flew us first over the west Maui mountains. So beautiful!!

And then across the Pailolo Channel.

We then saw the beautiful sights of Molokai. This island is home to Hawaii's largest and most spectacular sea cliffs, which can only be seen by boat or air. Also home to the tallest water fall.

Dave (the pilot) took us so close to the water falls and just what felt like only a few feet above the trees. It was kind of like an IMAX theater...but obviously much more exciting! It was all an amazing experience and one that we will never forget.

Aloha Oahu

Most of you have seen these pics on facebook and Kat's Playbook, but I forgot that I never shared our trip pictures as I said I would on here!! The bringing on of cold weather and thoughts of what I am thankful for makes me reminisce about our wonderful trip to Hawaii.

Oahu was a blast. We had both been growing up with our families, but it was even better to experience it together. We headed up to the North Shore to play in the waves and then head to the Polynesian Cultural Center.

And a trip to Oahu is never complete with eating one of the famous Banana Shave Ice from Aoki's. We even had a little taste off between Aoki's and Matsumoto's. Both a hit up north, but we declared Aoki's as the clear winner.

We also did a lot fabulous of hiking. Manoa Falls, Diamond Head and Cocohead. Buying the Keen shoes were a definite must for our little adventures.

I have to say that out of all the Beaches we went to on the trip, Bellow's was my favorite! It is open to the public on weekends and it was perfect.

Are you ready for some football???

Anyone that knows Tyson, knows that he sure is ready for some football...and at any time. I think the first word out of his mouth every day is football. And even last night at Dick's Sporting Goods, he cried and cried because we had to leave the store and he couldn't look at the wall of footballs anymore (its a tough life for the 20 month old).

And so it was just fitting that The T Man was a football for Halloween. We found this costume at Target as an infant sleep sack costume. And since Ty obviously running around like crazy, we cut some holes in the bottom for his little legs.

He did a little Trick-or-Treating and definitely knew that the more he grabbed with his little hand, the more chocolate he would get to eat.

We also went to Karlyn's house, who dressed up as the Incredibles, for a Minute to Win It party. Ryan was Hulk Hogan and I was a vampire....Jane from Twilight to be exact. We were quite the seriously group.

He had some much fun....he was sad to see it end. (Or freaked out by the Hulk)

Paradise for Two

What can I say about Hawaii?? Amazing. Amazing. Ah-mazing. Seriously, I HIGHLY recommend the vacay with no ~~baby~~ toddler. Taking the time for just the two of us was Fantastic. Back at home, there are of course date nights and little moments after the Ty Man goes to bed, and when we really try to spend some quality time together. But on the paradise vacation...it was as if we were high school sweet hearts again. Newly Weds again. In L-O-V-E.

I am sure my Dad is proud of the amount of activities we packed into this trip. I specifically remember going once to Kaui with my parents. My mom and I had just laid out our bamboo mats, got all oiled up, and were ready to soak in some sun on the beach....when my Dad would walk up and say, "alright, let's go. Off to the next beach." We always laughed about that one, but there were many times on this trip that Ryan had to remind me of how much I was like my Dad and just couldn't wait to do more.

Between beaches, hiking, snorkeling, helicopter tour, road to hana, Diamond Head, Manoa Falls, Polynesia Cultural Center, Luau's, and lots and lots of food...we really did have an amazing time.

So stay tuned to so many posts and so MANY pictures that you will probably be sick with Hawaiian jealously...or perhaps just start planning your own trip to the Islands. But I just can't help myself. I feel like I have to share the moments that still have me on a "high" back in Colorado 10 days later.

Friday, on my way home from Keystone for a work conference, I decided to blast my Johnny Cash CD and take the Loveland pass to check out the beautiful fall colors. What a perfect way to end the week.

More than anything, driving through and seeing all the beautiful colors made me think of my Mum and how much she loves the changing leaves. Thank you Mum, for teaching me to appreciate the beauty!

Love You More Today, Than Yesterday

Eighteen months ago, our little man, Tyson joined our family. And I never thought I could possibly love him any more than I did that day. But as every other mother is probably smiling, or saying, "Told You So", that little man has in fact stole my heart! Of course there are still days when the whining does not stop (ok, Mum & Dad...I completely get why you gave me such a hard time for that!). Or even days where he wants to smack us in the face or throw food across the kitchen. But I swear (all you soon-to-be-parents), its totally worth it.

Because then there is that laugh. That sense of humor that I just can't believe he already has. I mean...He really is a funny guy. He loves attention and loves to say hi or give knucks to just about anyone. Social just like his Mama.

He jib jabs like any other toddler and I swear he learns a new word every day. I think spending time with Grandparents and daycare during the week has been perfect. He gets the spoiling of Grandma & Grandpa time (I know you all still do it!!), but then he is exposed to germs and other bad habits from the kiddos at daycare. Ok, they aren't that bad, but we really do think that his vocabulary has grown because of his interaction with the older kids and it means the world to us for him to have that special Grandparent time.

Then there is his LOVE for sports. And you may think that we are just making that up. But I kid you not. This little boy LOVES sports. Especially football. Of course we are both thrilled, but I think we have maybe created a monster!! Every morning, the first word out of his mouth is, "Ball" or "Football". He loves to run with the football, points out a helmet when he sees one, and yells out "GO" any time he sees the Broncos or Gators. But don't worry, we are not catering him to only one sport. He knows that baseball has a bat, kicks a soccer ball, and is even learning (kind of) to dribble a basketball.

He absolutely LOVES books. I was a little worried when we were in the phase of just slamming them shut. I of course love the sport thing, but we need a little smarty pants too! But now he really loves Books. Loves to read them over and over. And loves to sit in your lap as he flips through the pages.

Ty LOVES to eat. Anyone who has had a meal with us, can tell you that its as if he's filming the perfect commercial. Every bite is followed by a, "Mmmmmmm", just as if it is the best thing he has ever put in his mouth. So Nestle, Nabisco, and Betty Crocker...if you need an adorable little man in your commericals, I've got the boy for you!!

And more than anything...there is that smile! Who can turn down that smile. I already know that he will break hearts some day, because I know that I am already a sucker. And the fact that this little rough and tough boy can also just cuddle and give hugs & kisses, it just melts my heart!

My mum would sing this little song to us when we were little. She taught it to me when Ty was just a week or so old because I couldn't think of a song to sing to him. Not only is it good to know something other than Twinkle Little Star, but he loves!!

What made me think about it even more today, is we now have a word for Grandma. Nana! This little stubborn boy will say just about any word we ask him to...except for Grandma. And more times than not, his version of Grandma was: Butt.

So we are pretty excited that its not going to be Bapa & Butt, and will now be Bapa & Nana!!

We traveled that road...Right down through the years

Today was a tough one. Today we said goodbye to my Dear Grandpa Lacy. Even though tears were shed and emotions were flattened, I have to remind myself of what a wonderful life he lived and that his life is truly a celebration. Within the last year we were fortunate enough to celebrate both his and my Grandma's 90th birthdays, and their 71st wedding anniversary. It was Seventy-One amazing years ago that they said their I Do's.

There are many things I will remember about my dear Grandpa. Most of all, I will cherish the sound of his voice. The way he would sing as he and Grandma would play for churches, nursing homes, and most memorable to me: the Lacy House every Christmas. The way his eyes would light up and the smile on his face every time he sang Up on the Roof Top, the Arkansas Valley, and Doggy in the Window.

The way he had that magic twinkle in his eye with a smile just for me. The way that their music would bring us together as we all clapped and sang along. The two step and waltz of my parents as they danced around the living room as Grandpa sang Waltz Across Texas. The sound of his voice as he would sing or whistle while washing the dishes...with the rag over his shoulder and a sway in his step. The sound of his voice as he would hum a little tune every morning as he would shave his whiskers. The smile on his face, as I would come down the stairs each morning as he drank his cup of joe and bowl of cereal. And the love that he had for each grandchild, great-grand child, my parents, and his wife.

My Grandpa and Grandma are an inspiration. Their love and marriage of 71 years is something I am so proud to share and look up to. And I wish for everyone to have someone in their life just as loving, caring, and special, as I did in him. It is hard to say goodbye, to my Dear Grandpa Lacy. But I can't help but have a smile on my face, as I imagine his warm hug, his kiss on the cheek, and the love in his heart.

March 20th, 2009, Tyson joined our family and we realized within a matter of seconds what a blessing he is. March 20th, 2010 he turned the big One.

One year.

One year of diapers. One year of kisses. One year of pure happiness. Yes, there were of course challenging times with lack of sleep, going through teething, and his first sickness. But overall, it has been the best year by far.

And so, to celebrate his first birthday, we of course threw Mr. T a bash to remember complete with family, friends, balloons, and of course CAKE.

The hit of the party was Ty chowing down. He started out with a little class and tasted the cake with just one tiny finger.

But before long...

He took it down like a champ!

The cake was a hit with everyone...

And Tyson was definitely one Happy Little Boy!

Thanks to this week's, Song on the Blog: BoysIIMen - Goodbye, I can now look at pictures of Ty's little and TINY clothes that he once wore, and bring on the waterworks at the same time as I reminisce. So yes...the tears were rollin when I went through all of his clothes to pass along to Ty's future BFFs. Here's some of my favorites.

Of Pure Cuteness. Seriously, I never thought that after 11 months (almost 12!!), I would still wake up every day, look at Ty, and think, "Oh my goodness, you are so freaking cute!!" I kind of thought it would be like when you get a puppy. You know...you love the puppy so much, can't get enough, but then one day she's just the dog in the corner, the dog eating the food off the kitchen floor, or the dog that constantly licks your son's face. I suppose some day, Tyson will become "just the dog"...maybe when he's 13, right? But either way, I am soaking it all in and loving every minute of it.

At the beginning of the year, we were lucky enough to get together with Ryan's Family up at the beautiful YMCA of the Rockies, in Estes Park. The rest of the fam has spent many weekends up in the hills, but this was my second and Ty's first. We stayed in a gorgeous cabin and just had a great time relaxing, visiting, playing games, and just being a family. Thanks Diane for such a great weekend and for wonderful memories.

So it occurred to me. Every single post has been about The Ty Man. Mr. T. Baby Gapp. What ever happened to Callaway?? I can tell you what happened...low end of the totem pole!! I guess that is just what happens once the babe arrives. And so I thought I would dedicate a post just to Callaway. The Dup. (Yes, we call her The Dup, because at one point she wasn't quite a big dog, wasn't still a pup...she was a Dup)

Cheese Ball!!

I cannot believe it. This little man is 10 months old today!! Ten Months! TEN. I know I have said this three times now, but I really can't believe it. It is one of those things that has flown by so fast, but at the same time we cannot imagine our life with out him.

Mr. T really has quite the little personality these days. This is what I call his Cheese Ball face....because, well he's a cheese ball and I'm a huge dork. Pretty good match I must say. He is now babbling all over the place but no official words yet. Although Bapa claims he said his name months ago. The most popular noun for everything is Dada...and just about at any time he is in "pointing" mode.

Ty still eats like a champ. We went through a phase after a rough night of spinach and Ham & Pineapple (don't worry, came from two seperate jars)...and after gagging a few times on that he decided he wasn't too excited about this baby food. But we are back on track! Of course he is sometimes treated like the dog and given little table scraps here and there. But don't worry, we haven't moved him to the dog run just yet.

No full on crawling yet. Instead we get a kind of Army-pirate-dead-leg-crawl. Yes, that is what I have named the maneuver and working on getting a song named after it. Either way, I am putting my money on the steps coming first. He loves his walker, pulling himself up, and will soon be getting ready for the 400 hurdles.

I am first and foremost so Thankful for the most loving, healthy, and perfect baby boy, Tyson. For a husband that is always there, shows me his love, and inspires me everyday. For my parents who continue to show me what family means, how special marriage is, and gives us never ending support. For siblings that are there for a good laugh, a big hug, and many memorable moments. For nieces and a nephew that keep us young at heart and show how much they love their new cousin. For my in laws who continue to welcome me into their family as if I was one of their own. For my girls that are always there, who keep me grounded, and make time to get together. For our friends that are always up for a good time, even when its quite the drive out to the burbs. For my job which keeps me busy and challenges me. For my health and my ability to get back into running shape. For our dog, Callaway who is great with Ty even if she keeps lint rollers in business with her shedding. I am often late to the newest trend. And so, thanks to my friend Elaine...and some of her friends who's blogs I secretly...who have all inspired me to make my 101 things to do list. The idea is to make a list of 101 things you have always wanted to do and to complete the list in 1001 days. I officially started this list on July 1, 2009 (beginning of the fiscal year…naturally). I think it was quite the task alone to come up with 101 items. Some are a little more attainable than others, but its always get to have some realistic goals, right??

Six months and as happy as can be

September 20th, Super T turned 6 months old. We had his appointment and the Doctor said he was perfect! No joke...her exact words. And all I wanted to say was, well yeah of course he is, what else do you have for us?? But one thing is clear, he is a growin Boy! When Ty was born, he was in the 15th percentile for weight and 70th percentile for height. Tall and lean. And now, weighing in at 18lbs, he is in the 50th percentile for both weight and height. Right down the middle! Here's a time when it is great to be in the middle of that curve. We will of course encourage otherwise once the grades start rollin in.

Pretty sure we can of course attribute the pounds to the fact that this kids LOVES to eat! He recently started eating veggies after his beloved rice cereal. He's a champ now with Carrots, Green Bean, Peas, and Squash. We of course were so excited for the first bite awaiting that sour-bitter-beer face....and nothing! He took it all like champ like he's been eating veggies since day one.

Gapps in Da Swamp

A couple of months ago, Ryan and I were watching Sports Center, and naturally they were talking about the number one team...The Florida Gators. It was then, that I saw Ryan's eyes light up as he watched the highlights from the 2008 season and realized that if we were ever going to make it to a game....it had to be this year....it had to be Tebow's senior year...it had to be when there is the possibility to win the NCAA Championship yet again. And so, we booked our tickets to the game (and let me assure you, those suckers were not cheap...but yet soooo worth it).

And so....On our Anniversary weekend, we left the magical world of Disney and drove up in our rented Kia Soul to Gainesville. We made a quick stop, and I have to tell you, we have never been so excited to be at a Walmart before. First of all, there were Gator fans EVERYWHERE. And everyone in Gator Blue. And second of all, just as you walked in there was a massive gator section in the Walmart that I know made Ryan drool. In Colorado, its rare to see anything, and I'm pretty sure we have bought every Gator shirt that randomly pops up at a Kohls. And so, I couldn't even imagine what the rest of the day would bring us.
Ryan planned the trip so well, that he found a tailgating group online. GatorTailgating.com We got there and let me tell you, these guys know how to tailgate. SEC tailgating is like nothing I have seen before. There's of course the typical tents, flags, and beer pong table. But then they have DJ speakers, flat screen TV, satellite, and even a huge deep fryer. That's right...forget your usual brats, dogs, or burgers. These guys go big and battered up and fry chicken right there! It was awesome!! Rusty, Crystal, Mike and Tammy all put together the show and I have to say they do a GATORtastic job. Rusty said he and the boys got the idea at an LSU game to give folks like us a place to tailgate a have a good time. So....if any of you ever make it out to Da Swamp...please, stop by and see these guys because they just make you feel like family!!

A little bit of Chicken Fry...

And then to the game. As we walked up to the stadium, I would imagine that Ryan looked like a little boy seeing a professional field for the first time. He was actually speechless. It was pretty darn cute. The game...well it was everything we could have imagined and then some. And boy do they pack the fans in. I think the attendance that day came in just under 92,000...(and to think that Invesco - Mile High only maxes out at 76,125.)...and every single one of them in Gator Blue.

I "Heart" Tebow

The Gators of course won the game (In Yo Face Lane Kiffin). But it was pretty funny that the natives were a little bittersweet because they didn't beat The Volunteers by at least 30 points as predicted. Such Spoiled Fans!! The next day we headed to The Flying Biscuit for breakfast (Thanks for the recommendation Katie), and then toured campus. What a beautiful Campus! It was pretty darn cool that we could just walk up to the field. If we would have known, we probably would have scheduled a later flight so we could watch the boys practice...yes, Urban has them out on Sunday's too. Clear the room for Trophy #4...These guys mean business!

I think Ryan could have spent his paycheck and more at the book store. Seriously, if you can think of it, they have it...Gator Style. We saw Gator lamp shades, Gator computer chairs, Gator Grill Covers, Gator tooth paste, and even Gator Tire Valve Stem Caps. Luckily we had a luggage limit and had to stop Ryan at some point...however, I'm pretty sure I have a good Christmas list for the Ry Guy for a couple of years to come.

Overall, it was an amazing trip. I am sure Ryan is still figuring out one way or another he could some day officially become a Gator, however, I will tell ya...the kid bleeds Orange and Gator Blue!!

Where Dreams Come True

Recently...Ryan and I took a trip to the magical world of Disney. Well realistically took the trip to see the magical world of the Florida Gators, but I will post that next.

First we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Downtown Disney at the House of Blues. This was our first trip away from Mr. T, and so it was good to get out and have a good time. We of course reminisced about the little guy and checked in a few times a day, but we knew that he was in good hands at home with grandparents.

On Saturday...we had quite the time running around the Magic Kingdom like a couple of kids. We did feel a little guilty for a moment when we saw all kinds of parents bringing their babies that were Ty's age or younger on most rides like Peter Pan, Haunted House, Pirates of the Caribbean, and It's A Small World. But then we realized that none of these parents were first time parents. So either you always wait until child number two or realize like us after the fact that you can bring your little one. But let's be honest, I don't think there would be any way Tyson would have survived the Gator game. But either way, we did have a blast.

We even got our trick-or-treating in for the year at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. (Which by the way was totally worth it...short lines, spooky music, characters dressed in costume, villain parade, and all the candy we could stuff our faces with.) Not to mention, all of the fall decor was great! Disney truly makes it magical. And if you can't tell...I take after my mother and LOVE the fall!!

And so Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy, Belle, Cinderella, The Tiki Room, and Jack Sparrow...Thank you for a wonderful time at your magical kingdom...where yes...dreams really do come true.

So Much in a Name

My parents came across these outfits that were the twins, Kent & Keith. And as most of you know, Tyson's middle name is Keith, in memory of the them. And I must say there is just so much in a name.

Kent & Keith were born on December 9th, 1977. Growing up, I always knew that is was very sad and tragic for my parents to lose two sons. My Mom and I had talked about it many times. But I didn't really get it until after Tyson was born. I have seen the pictures throughout the years, but once I saw them again at a family reunion, it was heartbreaking. I can't believe how much my family went through. And I now know just how special Tyson is and how life is truly a miracle.

We are very proud to include Keith in Tyson's name and I will be very proud the day that we will explain to Ty where the name came from. And even though Ty didn't get to wear these outfits for very long (I just forget how quickly he keeps growing!!), it just means so much that my Mom found these and we will always cherish them. It is truly very special!!

Our wedding day....four years ago on September 17th, 2005...The happiest day of my life. Said in a toast to us by my Dad, "May today be the day that you love each other the least".

And today...I know more than ever that is very true.

And TEN years ago on September 18th, 1999, we had our first date! We went to see For the Love of the Game, and little did we know that it was that date that would be the most important...the start of our lives together.
